SouleMama, et al.

Blogging has certainly opened up new channels and opportunities for everyone, but perhaps no one has been more affected than stay-at-home moms.

For instance, there are certain people who just have a knack for design. I visit their house and ooh and ahh over the details, the paint colors, the arrangement of art on the wall, the clever ways they organize their family's belongings.

You know who you are. (Ahem. Angela. Just in case you don't know who you are.)

Not so long ago, these artsy but busy moms would have to settle for the occasional visitor's oohs and ahhs. Now, blogging makes it relatively easy to set up a site where they can share their gift with anyone who happens by or stumbles upon.

For instance, I found the very talented and inspiring SouleMama by clicking a link on Mama's Cup. (I'm not sure how I came upon Mama's Cup...I sure do love this blogging thing.) SouleMama's creator, Amanda, is a homeschooling mother of four, a writer, photographer and artist who started out blogging a few years ago and now has written two books.

When I peruse SouleMama I just want to curl up with a mug of tea and a cozy sweater and let out a big contented sigh. One of these days when I feel like I have some time, I'll click on some of her links, and who knows what I'll find?

This blogging thing. Good stuff. But, no wonder I never get enough sleep.

I.LOVE.Soulemama. I found her site when I was still in Spain, and have visited it all the time since. I have her book, and can't wait til the next one comes out. She is such an inspiration! I, too, love to read her blog with a cuppa something warm. SO fun.
And, of course, your blog is a fav, too. You always make me smile. Always.
LOVE YOU!

I know! I've actually commented on Amanda's blog (SouleMama) and repeatedly ask to be adopted into her cozy, creative family.

So far, no response...

P.S. Thanks for the link, Mama!
