Holiday Shopping Tip #4: Take a break and watch a movie

I never let a year go by without settling in (armed with plenty of snacks) to view the lengthy classic "It's a Wonderful Life."

But my other favorite this time of year is one that always puts me in the holiday spirit, laughing all the way: "Elf," starring Will Ferrell.

Ferrell is hilarious portraying a man who was raised as one of Santa's elves. I can't imagine anyone else pulling off this character the way he does.

How about you, readers? What are your favorite holiday movies?

It's A Wonderful Life is one of my favorites, too, but I really love A Muppet Christmas Carol. I'm making my students watch it this year :)
