Despite my many complaints about traveling with small children, I continue to jump at nearly any chance to get out of the house and see a new spot on the globe. So, when my husband invited us to tag along on his recent business trip to Monterey, California, I couldn't resist.
It was during our time in Monterey that I realized I always do the exact same three things every time we stay at a hotel, and here they are:
1. Picking up crushed goldfish crackers from the hotel carpet.
2. Trying to read magazines.
3. Not sleeping.
