New on Ruth, the Mom: Tuesday Tan Update

I think if I'm going to be living in California I ought to develop some sort of a tan on my legs.

So, I am introducing a new periodic segment called "Tuesday Tan Update." My plan is to take a photo of the same portion of my leg (that is, my inner right calf) in bright sunlight so we can all track my progress.

Bright sunlight was hard to come by today, so I had to settle for partly cloudy.

Just so you know, I'm not going for a deep, dark, "Hawaiian Tropic SPF 2" type of tan. I'm just trying to get away from the "I've been wearing jeans nonstop for the past five years" look.
