Word count after 2 days: 4408
I'll try to keep up on the blog during November, but you'll have to forgive me if all I do is obsess about my novel writing.
So far I have learned that 50,000 words is a lot of words.
I have also learned that I can keep writing even when I think I am out of ideas and I am sick and tired of writing. Which so far has happened both days after I reach about 450 words.
In order to reach my goal of 50,000 words by the end of the month, I really need to write 1,667 words a day. I'm shooting for 2,000-2,500 though, just to try to get ahead of the game in anticipation of those inevitable setbacks life is bound to throw at me.
The hardest part is just continuing to type away even when I know that the sentence I just wrote was really and truly awful. I want to revise as I go, make every line perfect. Which is exactly why I need this project. At my usual pace it would take me 25 years to write one novel. Except I would never actually finish it, because I'd just get sick of it and quit.

I would love to do this except I would probably not be able to keep up with it either. I think I would be starting a completely different plot every two days because I am scatterbrained like that.
Good work!!
