If we stop and think about it, everyone ought to be pro-Earth. After all, this planet belongs to all of us and it's the only one we've got.
Maybe this Earth Day we could all try to focus on things we can agree on.
Earth: good.
Pollution: bad.
Fossil fuels: limited.
Population: massive, and growing.
Anyone not with me so far?
Okay, I know we are not all going to agree about the best way to address these issues. But I think that is just fine, because it will probably take several different ways.
Come on, people. Our children are counting on us.

Great post. Too bad people can't act like Earth Day is every day.
I'm always surprised when I meet people who are anti-eco. Especially when they have kids! There seems to be a mixture of denial and entitlement that fuels their "reasons" for being anti-eco.
