Sleep, glorious sleep

While on my Hawaiian getaway I had the delightful experience of going to bed when I was tired, followed by 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Well, it was not completely uninterrupted. At times throughout the night I was awakened by sounds in the hallway, and my first instinct was to go break up the fight, get the needed snack, or whatever. Then, remembering where I was, and that someone else was taking care of my children's scuffles and string cheese, I would blissfully fall back asleep.

That first night I had a long, drawn-out, multi-episode dream. It was not even a good dream, in fact it was a pretty bad dream. Still, I was just so happy that I slept long enough to have one.
