I don't really believe that a woman's place is in the kitchen, but you'd never know it from all the time I spend in there.
Seems like I'm in the kitchen about 90 percent of the time, yet still I can't manage to keep the counter tops or floor clean.
Of course, my computer is also in the kitchen, so that could have something to do with it...

I wouldn't mind spending so much time cooking (I really do love to cook), it's all the flipping cleaning of the dishes that I hate. For a short while I had my son doing all the dishes (loading and unloading) until he came and *begged* me to let him do ALL the laundry if I would just let him quit the dishes!
