Share Your Stories: sleep-deprived stupor

I just filled my teakettle up with water and stuck it in the fridge instead of on the stove. Once I started to feed my hungry 3-month-old a peanut butter sandwich. Sleep deprivation is cruel, but sometimes it is good for a laugh. What's the funniest thing you've ever done as a result of being overly tired?

Funny you should mention that. Last week while I was preheating the oven for baked potatoes, I washed the potatoes, pierced them with a fork, buttered and salted them and wrapped them in foil. When the preheat buzzer went off, I happily put my nicely wrapped bundles in the...

...fridge!

I then turned around and set the oven timer for an hour!

Thank goodness for microwaves.

Oops - that last comment was from me, Evelyn, not the moms club of wash park!

I've put many things in the fridge... the TV remote, my coffee, toys... most commonly, the phone.

These days, I'm better. But I often warm up my coffee, only to find it cold in the microwave hours later.

Just a few weeks ago I was getting Riley's cereal ready and I poured juice on it instead of milk. You should have seen the look on her face!
